Goal
Implementation of short-term Water Operators’ Partnerships in order to help operators achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and make progress on the realization of sustainable Access to drinking water for all.
Objectives
Develop and implement short term, thematic action plans and develop medium-term Sustainable Improvement Plans (SIP).
Description of the project
The Global Water Operators’ Partnerships Alliance (GWOPA) is a network of partners committed to helping water operators help one another improve their collective capacity to provide access to water and sanitation services for all. AfWA as a regional Water Operator Partnership (WOP) platform in Africa has been chosen by GWOPA for the implementation of two WOP project financed by OFID up to 250,000 $ over three years in Malawi and Ethiopia.
Expected results
Identify key thematic areas and develop short-term action plans;
Reinforcing technical capacities of mentees on the identified keys challenges;
Implementation of Short-Term Action Plans (STAP) and development of a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
