From 24 to 28 February 2020 will be held in Kampala, Uganda, the biggest meeting of the WASH sector in Africa: the 20th Congress of the African Water Association. This congress will be of a special nature because it will also mark AfWA’s 40th anniversary.

The official launching ceremony of this dual event will take place on Friday 25 January 2019 in Kampala, Uganda, in the presence of the country's highest authorities and AfWA members. This will be an opportunity to present the roadmap of activities that will take place until 2020, in preparation for the next World Water Forum to be held in 2021 in Dakar, Senegal.
