The African Water Association, in collaboration with Kenya's leading water supply and distribution company, the Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company Ltd., in anticipation of the February 2016 congress, March 2015, a grand launching ceremony was held at the ROSA Kempinski VILLA in Nairobi.

This launching ceremony is the first major activity of the AAE since the Bamako meeting in February. Acting President Hamanth Kassan, Executive Director Sylvain Usher and CST Chair Olivier Gosso shifting. The objective of the ceremony was to officially announce the holding of the congress and to bring the stakeholders and the financial partners to engage in the organization of this great gathering, which brings together professionals every two years Water and sanitation in Africa.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the official presentation of the logo, the website and the members of the congress organizing committee. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Kenyan government, national and foreign non-governmental organizations, economic operators, and officials from Kenya's water and sanitation companies.

The EFA Congress, which will take place from February 22 to 26, 2016, in the Kenyan capital, is a grand event, with more than 1500 participants from more than 50 countries.
