The 4th Arab Water Week was held in Amman, Jordan, from April 19 to 23, 2017. This meeting is a unique international event in the Arab region that tackles issues related to water management by establishing innovative partnerships and platforms for collaborative work on water issues in the Arab world.

The 2017 edition brought together some 500 experts from the water sector representing governments, regional and international organizations, private water and sanitation utilities and scientific research institutes. The conference and the exhibition offered participants a broad technical presentation and a policy-oriented program, as well as a specialized exhibition for water and wastewater service providers and other service providers in the water sector.

Important agreements in the water sector were signed on the margins of the event, according to the organizers, who said the Water Week also led to discussions on the empowerment of women leaders in the sector water.
