ISLE Utilities and the AfWA are getting organized to set up a Technological Platform

On 1 February 2017, the Group Director of ISLE Utilities, Fiona Griffith and Ben Tam, (the Technology Consultant), discussed with the Executive Director of AfWA at its headquarters in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. This meeting focused on the project of setting up a technological platform for water utilities in Sub-Saharan Africa, members of the African Association of Water.

In November 2016, on the occasion of the African Water Association’ Scientific and Technical Council meetings held in Lilongwe - Malawi, a technological workshop on the same project was moderated by Fiona Griffith and Ben Tam in the presence of about twenty African water utilities. This visit by the two representatives of ISLE to the headquarters of AfWA is intended to follow up on the partnership established at that time and to prepare the next steps in the implementation of the schedule of future activities. In addition to the Executive Director of AfWA, Fiona Griffith and Ben Tam also exchanged views with the Managers of the Water Utility of Côte d'Ivoire, SODECI.
