The African Water Association (AfWA), through its USAID-funded capacity building program (AfriCap), is organizing, in partnership with the Société d'Exploitation des Eaux du Niger (SEEN), a metrology capacity building workshop, for laboratory technicians.

The workshop, which will be held in a single session, will take place from 29 to 31 January 2019 in Niamey, Niger. The technicians of the water utilities laboratories of ten (10) countries are expected to attend this training, namely, Benin (SONEB), Burkina Faso (ONEA), Cameroon (CAMWATER), Côte d'Ivoire (SODECI, ONEP), Ghana (GWLC), Guinea Conakry (SEG), Mali (SOMAGEP), Niger (SEEN), Nigeria (FCT WATER BOARD OF ABUJA, OGUN STATE WATER COORPORATION) and Togo (TDE)
