Institutional Capacity Building: ACBF Stands Alongside AfWASA

On the sidelines of the World Bank and IMF Annual Meetings, ACBF Executive Secretary Mr. Mamadou Biteye, accompanied by Mr. Bakary Koné, ACBF Senior Advisor for Strategic Partnerships based in Abidjan, met with the Executive Director and the Director of Member Services of AAEA, on 10 July 2026, at AAEA's headquarters. Objective: to build a shared vision of the institutional support mission undertaken between the two organizations. Discussions covered governance, the economic model, human resources, and the headquarters agreement. Mr. Biteye shared several examples of financial and organizational turnaround led by ACBF with other institutions, an encouraging signal for AAEA.
